Failoa Famili is aware of the need to be work ready for the demands of the workplace of today and tomorrow. Many employers at our workshops attest to the natural giftings and strong work ethic Pacific people bring to the workplace. But many lack the opportunity. We want to change that through upskilling in workplaces and career pathways for youth.
TRAINING AND CAREER PATHWAYS
An integral part of knowing yourself is knowing your connection to your culture, land and the environment. Growing your own food is an exciting and important venture. Aganu'u Fa'aSamoa is a series of workshops delivered by our elderly matua for families to learn Samoan culture, customs and stories.
SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES
Pasifika home ownership is at an all-time low of below 18%. Our No Place Like Home Programme is a critical intervention plan of action helping first time, low to medium income Pasifika families into home ownership.
Pasifika families will complete a four-step programme to achieve accessible and sustainable home ownership through educational workshops, budget management, mentoring and advocacy.
